The Interfaith Shelter Network encourages and empowers San Diego County religious congregations and community groups to volunteer their facilities and other resources to provide shelter, food and support to people without homes in search of permanent solutions.

Rotational Shelter Program
Purpose
The "Rotational Shelter Program" provides emergency shelter to singles, couples and families countywide. This safe and nurturing community environment fosters self-sufficiency and improves self-esteem by offering a hand up.

El Nido Transitional Living Program
Purpose
"El Nido" or "The Nest" provides transitional living to 11 families at a time. The participants encourage each other to rebuild their lives and spirits with the support of community professionals and volunteers. "El Nido" guests receive educational, career and psychological counseling from the program.
